The first character of har gow (the har or xia or ha) directly translates as shrimp in Chinese. Ive been on a dim sum kick recently (hence the sesame ball and nai wong bao recipes recently) so of course I had to make my favorite steamed dumpling - ha. In traditional Chinese, har gow is written as. Place the dumplings on top of a lightly oiled slice of courgette and into a steam basket.
